There are 18 points of interest; some are marked with waymark posts. You can discover them in any order. Each one links the landscape and wildlife of the Heath today with its deep geological history. See thetrail map andleaflet.

You can access the trail from all parts of the Heath

By car

Car parks at Britannia Road (by the Barracks), Gurney Road (near the Pavilion and near Mousehold Lane), and at Gilman Road (beside the track to the sports ground).

By bus

On foot

There are many entry points to the Heath, via Gilman Road, Gurney Road, Heartsease Lane and Mousehold Lane.
