About

NomadBSD is a persistent live system for USB flash drives, based onFreeBSD^®. Together with automatic hardware detection and setup, itis configured to be used as a desktop system that works out of the box, butcan also be used for data recovery, for educational purposes, or to testFreeBSD^®'s hardware compatibility.

Requirements

The images for 64-bit and 32-bit computers fit on a >=5GB USB flash drive.A system with a 1.2GHz CPU and 1G of RAM (2G for the ZFS version) should beable to run NomadBSD decently. Booting is possible via BIOS and UEFI.
