Frontman Gerard Way reveals the group are 'really happy with it'

My Chemical Romance have finished recording their new album – and you can hear frontmanGerard Way talking about the LP onNME.COM below.
Way revealed that the band had completed the follow-up to 2006’s‘The Black Parade’ on their “second attempt”.
“We just finished the album so we’re excited about that,” he said in an interview at theComic-Con event inSan Diego,California. “It’s the second attempt at the album and we’re really happy with it.”
The as-yet-untitled album could include songs such as‘Bullet Proof Heart’ – which referencesThe Killers‘‘Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine’ –‘Black Dragon Fighting Society’ and‘Light Behind Your Eyes’, all of whichWay told NME about earlier this year.
“People just wanna fucking rock,” he explainedto NME in January. “I don’t know that people want to make statements right now. I can’t comment on anybody else’s record but I certainly feel something in the air, like, people just want the truth and they don’t need a big story.”
The release date for the band’s fourth studio effort is yet to be announced.
