
The National Library of Israel offers a variety of services to the public. Many of these services, such as the use of commercial databases and reference books in the reading rooms, as well as guided tours of the Library, do not require payment or registration.
Along with services offered on the premises, access is provided to thousands of items online, free of charge.
Staff librarians are available toanswer questions and provide assistance.

The copy center provides readers with a range of services: photocopying and scanning with state-of-the-art equipment, microfilm and microfiche scanning equipment, a place to view VCR or DVD movies ordered from the storeroom as well as lamination and bookbinding. Various products can also be purchased here.
Visitors to the National Library can make use of our locker service which offers solutions for storing your belongings, free of charge. This is a self-service system – you can simply head to the locker area, pick an available locker and select a code yourself.
Our locker area can be found on floor -1, near the circulation desk.
You may also deposit belongings in the cloakroom at the Kaplan Street entrance (floor 0).
The cloakroom is open from 9 am to 8 pm.
We also offer a paid service for renting lockers long-term at varying prices, depending on the duration of your locker-rental and the size of the locker.For more information click here.
Have you lost/found an item at the National Library?
Lost credit cards, ID cards and other lost valuables such as jewelry and cash will be brought to the office of our security center.
Other lost items will be held in the reading room where they were found.
Please note: Lost items that are found at the Library will be held for a period of four months.
