Standard Reference Materials

NIST supports accurate and compatible measurements by certifying and providing over 1200 Standard Reference Materials® with well-characterized composition or properties, or both.

Pursuant to Executive Order (EO) 14247, NIST will no longer accept paper checks or money orders.

The downloadable version of the SRM Catalog is updated annually.  For the latest product availability for order, go to the NIST Store,https://shop.nist.gov.

Users of a NIST SRM or RM should ensure that the certificate/report in their possession is current.  Find Current SRM/RM Certificates, Reports of Investigation, and Safety Data Sheets using the NIST Store’s Product Search Box.

Due to world events, all shipping to Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine has ceased.  As a result, the Office of Reference Materials will not be accepting or processing orders to these countries for the foreseeable future.
