In the evening, participants will dance to live music by a cavalcade of rock legends performing from unique jukebox-shaped stage the Las Vegas Convention Center. Dave Swan Emcee celebrating 8th year on stage On June 30, comedian Dave Swan, who hosts and emcees the hit show "Legends in Concert" at the Imperial Palace Hotel Casino, began his eighth consecutive year in the hotel's Imperial Theatre Showroom.
Swan began at the hotel in June, 1980, when he opened for Breck Wall's "Bravo Vegas." He became a local favorite with his Welsh humor, which has been adapted for American audiences. Later, when the Imperial Palace decided on a star policy in the Imperial Theatre, Swan was the opening act. He opened for Lovelace Watkins, The Platters, Djan Tatlian and worked with The Mamas The Papas and Gary Puckett.
