Another clause in the constitution provides that players accept the rulings of the registration committee, unless an appeal is made to the Dominion registration committee, and any player who takes, a case into the courts shall considered as acting in an ungentlemanly manner and shall be suspended by the association. The executive is empowered under the revised constitution to appoint sub-registration committees arrange for payment of a secretary or assistant secretary, the office heretofore having been an honorary one. The registration committee was reduced from ax to five. it including the presitwo men to be elected dent, vice-president, secretary, and Under the new constitution a sub-registration committee was appointed for the City of Quebec to work under the general registration board. The financial statement was the best ever presented to a meetIng of the association. It showed a credit balance of $179, the receipts being: revenue from players' cards. from gate receipts at play-off games, $255; and from fees, $240. The expenditures amounted to $606. Applications were. received from two leagues for affiliation. One came from the Mount Royal Intermediate League, which was referred to the new executive, while the other was 2 verbal one from the Provincial League, which includes Quebec City, Grand' Mere, La Toque and Chicoutimi. This league was admitted to membership on the presentation of its constitution and Some discussion arose over the classification of the Commercial Leagues as to whether they were in the senior or intermediate category. It was pointed out by the president that a league was classifled by the application made for afAliation. This was followed by a motion that the commercial leagues pay annually a fee of $10. After Some discussion the motion was withdrawn and the fees set for senior. intermediate and commercials leagues was left as previously at $20 per league annually.
