FEAR COUNTY PILOT KILLED Robert Stanley McCoy, aged 25, son of Stanley McCoy, Maugans-| ville, first officer of the Pan American Clipper which crashed near Istanbul, Turkey this morning kill. ing 15, is presumed to have died in the accident, according to an Associated Press dispatch this afternoon from New York. McCoy was born Sept. 26, 1921 at | Maugansville. Md. He had more than 50 Atlantic crossings and more than 2,500 Alight hours to his credit. He was graduated from the Hagerstown High School in 1939, and his wife is the former June E. | Hartman, of Lewisburg. Pa. McCoy was employed during the recent war by the Henson Flying Service at the Hagerstown Airport as flight instructor. After leaving the Henson Flying Service, he joined Pan American Airlines about three and half years ago, a and has been a flight officer and co-pilot of Pan American Clippers. 2
