City Hall Calendar The Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in City Hall to consider applications previously submitted for structural changes in official city landmarks. Among those are: An applicant's request to extend the roof line of a three-story structure at 355 West Broadway. Two five-story buildings at 30 and 32 W. Ninth St. in which the applicant seeks to resurface the structures with waterproof materials. ory and warehouse buildings at 419 and 421 West Broadway in which there is a proposal to convert the properties into living and working quarters, with the addition of a mezzanine. A proposal to construct a 22-story office building adjacent to the landmark site of St. Bartholomew's Church and Community House located at 560 Lexington Ave. All of the structures are located in Manhattan. The City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in City Hall. Among some of the items before the Commission is an application submitted by Consolidated Edison Company to continue the use of a bridge span over 14th St. and Avenue D for the conveyance of coal and other related matters from one plant to the other. The location is in Manhattan. Another item before the Commission is an application submitted by Alexander's Inc., the department store chain, for a special permit which will enable the firm to construct a heliport on the roof of one of its branches in Kings Plaza Shopping Center, Avenue U and Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn. Also the commission will consider zone change proposals in some of the boroughs. The Department of Real Estate will hold a public auction of city -owned properties on Wednesday at 9 a.m., at Police Headquarters Auditorium, 1 Police Plaza, in Manhattan. Up for sale will be $2 million worth of city real estate ranging from vacant lots to apartment buildings located throughout the boroughs. The Board of Standards and Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at 80 Lafayette St. in Manhattan. The Board will consider applications submitted for structural changes in existing premises in some of the boroughs. Among those submitting initial applications are: McAlpin Apartments Inc., a request to renovate an existing 26-story hotel from the third floor up in to residential apartments at 1282-1300 Broadway. An applicant's request to convert an existing six-story warehouse into a residential complex including a commercial store in the basement at 131-133 Perry St. Madison 360 Co., a request to add five additional stories to an existing 11- story structure at 360 Madison Ave. All are located in Manhattan. The City Council has scheduled the following: On Tuesday at 10 a.m. the Committee on Economic Development will meet to consider a bill which will prohibit the city engaging in business matters with contractors participating in an international boycott. The meeting will be in City Hall. On Wednesday at 10 a.m. the Committee on Public Safety will meet to continue discussions on resolutions concerning arson. The meeting will be in City Hall. Also on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in City Hall, the Committee on Education, with its chairman Stephen B. Kaufman, will meet with school Chancellor-Designate, Frank J. Macchiarola to hear his plans concerning the Board of Education. ON Thursday at 10 a.m. the Committee on Consumer Affairs will meet to consider a bill which will prohibit no-deposit and no-return beverage containers. The meeting will be in City Hall.
