Ends Suit Against Carnegie

ENDS SUIT AGAINST CARNEGIE. Justice Glegerich'. Order Clears Title to Diet Street Corner. Supreme Court Justice Glegerich signed an suit order of discontinuance yesterday in brought against Andrew Carnegie, Gen. Lloyd 8. Brice and Herbert 8. Sherman, Mr. Carnegie's real estate broker, by Mrs. James A. Burden and her father, William D. Sloane, in which the plaintiffs asked for an injunction to restrain Mr. Carnegie from selling to Gen. Brice the plot adjoining Mrs. Burden's residence at 7 East Ninety street. Under Justice Giegerich's order the lis pendens against the Carnegie property, Ninety rat street and Fifth avenue, cancelled and Mr. Carnegie is now able to Rive clear title to the purchaner, said to be Otto H. Kahn. The transfer of a twenty -six inch strip of land to Mrs. Burden by Mr. Carnegie resulted in the ending of the suit.
