Cleveland Girls Run 1-2 in National AAU 880 (Continued From Page 1-C) billed merely as an exhibition. Lillian Green, 17 - year - old Hunter College sophomore, has the slickest time of all. She ran the 880 in 2:18 outdoors last summer in Hungary. Miss Green representing the New York Police Athletic League, passed up the 880 on the eighth-mile flat board oval in Washington's armory in order to enter the 440. She won, too, in 63.4, beating Alfrances Lyman, of Tennessee A&I by a foot. That time also was listed as a record for the first official indoor championship running of a quarter-mile. Ann Marie Flynn, 20-year-old| the German-American Athletic Club of Brooklyn, won the high jump with a leap of 5 feet ½ inch. She never dislodged the bar at heights on the way up SO received first-place medal ahead of Marlene Pope o fthe Cleveland Recreation Department and Joan Terry of Tennessee A & I, who also cleared the same height. Wilma Rudolph of Tennessee A&I topped the 50-yard competition in 6.2 seconds, Tennessee also took- top honors in the 440-yard relay, fin- ishing in 52.3 seconds.
