BCB declares dates of next 3 BPLs

Bangladesh Cricket Board on Sunday announced the date of the next three editions of the Bangladesh Premier League following their fifth meeting of the board of directors.
BCB president Nazmul Hasan said that the franchise owners of the tournament who will take part in the contention will be handed a three-year contract to make the competition more lucrative and significant.
The ninth edition of BPL will be held from January 5 to February 16, 2023 while the tenth and eleventh edition will be played from January 6 to February 2024, January 1 to February 11, 2025 respectively.
‘We have finalised the date of the forthcoming three editions of Bangladesh Premier League as we are set to hand a three-year contract to the franchise owners, said Nazmul.
He additionally added that a total of seven franchise owners are expected to vie for the country’s lone glamorous T20 competition, however, he couldn’t reveal their further steps associated with the tournament.
‘Seven teams will play. Since we have settled the dates, I hope that other related things will also be fixed by the next week.’
