The team did not hold a full practice Monday on a short week, meaning Pickens’ status is simply an estimation. That said, the fact that he carried two injury designations does raise some level of concern for his availability on a short week. Fantasy managers will want to track his level of participation on Tuesday.

We never like seeing wide receivers dealing with hamstring issues considering the nature of the position, but there likely isn’t reason to be concerned ahead of the team’s Thanksgiving matchup against the Cowboys. As things currently stand, Rice’s hamstring issue is nothing more than something to monitor on a short week. Running back Isiah Pacheco was listed as a full participant, making it likely he returns from a three-game absence in Week 13.
  • Jackson_Lamar.jpg
    Baltimore Ravens Primary Logo
    BALQuarterback#8
Although Jackson was listed as a “DNP” on Monday’s estimated practice report, this time due to a toe injury, head coach John Harbaugh downplayed any lingering issues for the veteran signal caller. Jackson appeared a step slower in Sunday’s win over the Jets, but shut down any idea that injuries have held him back in recent weeks. Jackson hasn’t rushed for more than 36 yards in a game since returning from the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 4, and is averaging just 2.8 yards per carry in his last four games. Jackson and Harbaugh can deny it all they want, but it’s hard to ignore one of the most dynamic runners in the league suddenly looking far less dynamic. Hopefully this is something he can work through while still playing, but fantasy managers banking on Jackson’s rushing upside carrying them into and through the fantasy playoffs in the coming weeks may need to temper expectations a bit.
  • Mayfield_Baker.jpg

Rapoport notes that this is “good news with an eye toward next week,” suggesting Mayfield could miss at least one game with the injury. We’ll see if this changes throughout the week, but if Mayfield is unable to go against the Cardinals, Teddy Bridgewater would draw the start in his absence. Bridgewater threw for just 62 yards on 15 pass attempts in last week’s loss to the Rams, and would be an immediate downgrade for all Buccaneers pass-catchers. Mayfield’s status will be one to monitor when the first practice report drops on Wednesday.
  • Samaje Perine
    Cincinnati Bengals Primary Logo
    CINRunning Back#34
It’s an estimation, but it’s a rapid recovery from Perine after being doubtful for Week 12. Perine left Week 9 against the Bears with a high-ankle sprain and has not played since. His return would prevent Chase Brown from hogging the whole workload pie against the Ravens, much to the chagrin of Brown-reliant managers.
  • McCarthy_JJ.jpg
    Minnesota Vikings Primary Logo
    MINQuarterback#9
It is the softest benching yet for McCarthy, as the team could not identify one particular hit where he picked up a concussion. McCarthy reported symptoms on the flight home. Backup quarterback and rookie UDFA Max Brosmer could be in line for a desperation start against the Seahawks in Week 13. Of course, after last week’s McCarthy performance — one where the team finished with -1 total yards as an offense after halftime — Brosmer could very well be an upgrade. O’Connell was not yet ready to rule McCarthy out and the Vikings do play on Sunday so there’s a little time for this to settle.
  • shedeur.jpg
    browns-color-logo.svg
    CLEQuarterback#12
Shedeur was under center for the Browns’ third win of the season over the Raiders and helped generate a more vertical passing attack while throwing for 209-1-1 on 11-of-20 passing. Sanders’ two biggest throws of the day came on a beautifully thrown 52-yard bomb to Isaiah Bond in the first quarter, with his other coming on a 66-yard touchdown on a pass behind the line of scrimmage to Dylan Sampson. It was only going to be a matter of time before Sanders, who famously slid to the fifth-round of this year’s draft, got a chance to start. Now, the Browns will look to see if he’s their quarterback of the future over these next six weeks or another name added to a laundry list of QB1 hopefuls. Sanders shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a low-end QB2 for this week’s game against the Niners.
  • Burrow_Joe.jpg
    Cincinnati Bengals Primary Logo
    CINQuarterback#9
Taylor disappointingly would not put it on the record that Burrow will play, but this seems to be a pretty strong endorsement that he will anyway. “He looks like he’s in good shape to be ready to go,” Taylor continued. Burrow will be on the QB1 line against the Ravens in Week 13 assuming he suits up, but the absence of Tee Higgins (concussion) will mean that the Bengals will be playing without their full complement of stars.
  • Mayfield_Baker.jpg
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers Primary Logo
    TBQuarterback#6
Head coach Todd Bowles said after the game that the team believed Mayfield suffered a shoulder sprain. That remains the case, but an MRI will confirm the full extent of Mayfield’s injury. According to Schefter, a source familiar with the situation told him the team is “not ruling out” Mayfield just yet for Week 13’s game against the Cardinals, but that still depends on what the MRI reveals. If Mayfield is unable to go against the Cards, the Buccaneers would turn to Teddy Bridgewater, who threw for 62 yards on 15 attempts in relief of Mayfield in Week 12.
  • Mayfield_Baker.jpg
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers Primary Logo
    TBQuarterback#6
Mayfield injured his left, non-throwing shoulder in the second quarter on Sunday night. The 30-year-old quarterback finished the first half but was visibly in pain between plays. The team briefly listed him as doubtful to return at halftime before ruling him out shortly thereafter. He stood on the sideline with his left arm in a sling during the second half. In January 2022, Mayfield underwent surgery on the same shoulder to repair a torn labrum.
