In September 2023, theSixers signed Kelly Oubre Jr., a now ten-year league veteran who entered the NBA in 2015.
A New Orleans native, Oubre was a five-star recruit entering Kansas in 2014, where he played for one year. He was selected 30th overall by Atlanta in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft out of Kansas. As a part of a three-team trade, he was traded toWashington where he played until 2019.
Throughout his career, Oubre has played in 647 games (303 starts), averaging 13.2 points and 4.6 rebounds while playing for Washington,Phoenix,Golden State andCharlotte, and now Philadelphia. From the 2019-2024 seasons, Oubre has scored at least 15 points.
So far this season, Oubre has achieved a career high field-goal average of 46.4%. He’s averaging 14.5 points and 6.4 rebounds this season.
