Distinguished Doctors
We have a diverse medical staff of approximately 180 physicians on active medical staff at UNC Nash, including surgeons, orthopedists, primary care providers, neurosurgeons, gastroenterologists, plastic surgeons, cardiologists, nephrologists, urologists, and gynecologists.
Through our partnership with UNC Health Care and itsUNC Physicians Network, as well as the many community physicians on our medical staff, our patients can access expert doctors in Rocky Mount and across North Carolina.
UNC Nash Leadership
UNC Nash executive team members steer the day-to-day operations of our health care services and facilities. Ourboard of commissioners governs UNC Nash. The Nash County Board of Commissioners appoints 15 board members, and the current and past presidents of the medical staff as well as the president of UNC Health Nash, serve as ex-officio voting members. Our Community
UNC Nash is located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Rocky Mount is a city in the Twin Counties of Edgecombe and Nash in eastern North Carolina. Rocky Mount’s more than 60,000 residents benefit from one of the lowest costs of living in the country. The city has received the All-American City Award from the National Civic League twice, in 1969 and 1999.
