It's perhaps unlikely punters will ever see the former England captain pulling pints behind the bar, but he and pal Guy Ritchie shelled out £3 million for a London pub in 2018.

The megarich pair snapped up the Walmer Castle on Ledbury Street in Notting Hill, close to the Beckham family home in Holland Park.

Beckham and Ritchie announced plans to give the boozer a Soho House-style makeover.

While it was the first pub Beckham had bought, the ex-Manchester United legend has released his own whisky brand, Haig Club, so he was not a total stranger to alcohol-based ventures.

A quick look at thepricey menu shows that this is not your average local either.

The menu is dotted with fine delicacies including potted crab and a lobster burger.

There's even a £55 sushi platter - which must be nice as it only includes ten pieces!
