Separate ceremonies to honor each scheduled prior to August games

DETROIT -- The Tigers will retire the jersey numbers of newly elected Hall of Famers Alan Trammell and Jack Morris in separate ceremonies in August, the team announced on Thursday.
The Modern Era Baseball Committee voted in the former Tiger teammates last Sunday. They'll become the first pair of teammates to be inducted in the same year wearing the same cap since 1984. They'll join any inductees from the BBWAA ballot as part of the Baseball Hall of Fame's Inductions Weekend July 27-29 in Cooperstown.

The Tigers also announced that individual game tickets will go on sale on the same day as TigerFest -- Jan. 27 at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available online at tigers.com, in person at the Comerica Park box office on Witherell Street, and by phone at 866-66-TIGER.

Single-game tickets will continue with dynamic pricing. Starting prices for more than 34,000 tickets per game will be unchanged, the Tigers announced, while about 3,000 lower-baseline seats for many games will see a price reduction.
