Sergio Aguero has confirmed that he will miss the Manchester derby later this month.
Aguero, 27, was stretchered off during Argentina's surprise 2-0 defeat to Ecuador on Thursday evening.
TheManchester City striker visited a clinic in Buenos Aires on Friday afternoon where it was confirmed that he has suffered a hamstring tear.
Speaking outside the clinic Aguero revealed that the injury is set to keep him on the sidelines for four weeks.
"I think I'll be a month without playing," he said on Friday.
"I'll go the AFA (Argentine Football Association) national team compound to carry on with treatment. To recover from the tear I'll surely need a month although it will depend how it evolves," he told TyC Sports.
