Ilmen Nature Reserve, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia
This material was named potassic-ferrisadanagaite in the original description, but the analaysed material has Fe2+>>Mg, and after the redefinition of the sadanagaite group in the 2012 amphibole nomenclature, the correct name is potassic-ferro-ferri-sadanagaite.

General Appearance of Type Material:
In fine-grained rocks it forms short prismatic grains, whereas in coarse-grained pegmatitic rocks it forms poikilitic crystals up to 2 cm across.
Place of Conservation of Type Material:
Fersman Mineralogical Museum, Moscow, Russia, 89612 (type).
Geological Setting of Type Material:
Occurs as a rockforming mineral in an alkaline syenite in thin interrupted bands along the eastern contact of the Ilmen alkaline massif, southern Urals, Russia (Bazhenov et al. 1999).
