Located near Conklin.

Known for exceptional apophyllite-(KOH) crystals. Meier and Kearns (2011) determined much if not all of the northern Virginia are uniformly near end-member apophyllite-(KOH) and verified its occurrence at this locality. (Lance Kearns, personal communication, 2011).
