Erskine Creek Mine


A former Sb mine located in the SW¼SW¼ sec. 24, T27S, R33E, MDM, about 9.3 km SE of Lake Isabella (town) and about 9.6 km ESE of Bodfish, along the N canyon wall of Erskine Creek (SW slope of Laura Peak), on private (patented) land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided and/or Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings.
