Ancientlead andzincmine (abandoned in 1931), workingquartzveins of the Bockswiesevein system ('Bockswieser Gangzug').

The Gelbe Lilie mine is located immediately east of the Glücksrad mine.

Located near Oberschulenberg, 2 km west of Schulenberg and about 6 km NE of Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

— It seems probable that the relative mineral wealth of this mine (by comparison to close-by mines) is due to a 3-month mine fire around 1721, resulting in pseudo-firesetting assemblages. Description: Schnorrer-Köhler (1988):Associated with chalcopyrite, calcite and/or quartz.Röntgenographic analysis cannot distinguish köttigite from hörnesite (the Mg end-member of the vivianite group).However, köttigite's refractive index is higher than 1.60 (whereas that of hörnesite is lower than 1.60).Moreover, apart from As only Zn and some Fe were found by qualitative analysis.
