Note: Schwarzsee (Schwarz lake) is an old name for the Fuchssee (Fuchs lake).

Note: coordinates are those of the Fuchssee.

Manganese mineralisations (mainly braunite) in strongly folded metaradiolarites (radiolarite quartzites) of the Hochfeind Nappe.
A detailed study of the mineralogy of several outcrops is currently underway (Kolitsch, Schachinger, Auer, Bernhard, 2007-2020); first results are given in Kolitsch et al. (2015, 2021).
