Poličany (German: Politschan) is a part of the town of Kutná Hora in the district of Kutná Hora. It is located about 3 km south of Kutná Hora. The Kutná Hora - Zruč nad Sázavou railway line passes through here.

Poličany is also the name of a cadastral area with an area of ​​2.11 km².

Small abandoned mines in the southern part of Kutná Hora ore district. Mineralized veins are developed in rocks of the Kutná Hora crystalline complex unit (Proterozoic migmatitized paragneisses). Most famous is the St. Antonín de Padua Adit with 5 ore veins 20 to 50 cm thick (max. 1 m) with quartz and carbonates bearing disseminated silver minerals and Sb-mineralization (berthierite veins).
