A former underground Cu-Ag-Zn-Mn-Pb mine is located on 9 claims in the NE¼SE¼ sec. 19, T21S, R15E, 1½ miles NE of Salero, on the divide between Josephine Canyon and Squaw Gulch, at an elevation of about 5,400 feet, on private land. This group of claims was located in 1904. The Salero Mines Inc. had unspecified involvement here (1926).

The deposits are contained in several quartz fissure veins in altered diorite. The veins mostly strike WNW and are linked, forming a stockwork.
