Beryl and columbite pegmatite, of which a zone is mineralized in uranium. According to Deliens et al., the locality is situated at 3°06’ S, 28°08’ E.

The Kobokobo pegmatite is among the most peculiar mineralogical localities in the World. The incorporation of Th within the otherwise U6+-dominated minerals is particularly unusual. It indicates rather special conditions during the crystallization, as Th4+ is mobile under different conditions from U6+.
