Carrière Rosemont


This former quarry was situated in a densely populated urban area close to the intersection of Boulevard Pie IX and Boulevard Rosemont in the City of Montréal. It ceased to exist in the late 1950s and is built over mostly by the Montréal Botanical Garden. It was limestone quarry with exposures of igneous sills and dikes.
