A Ag-Pb-Cu-Au-Zn-Mo mine located in the SW ¼ sec. 35, T.22S., R.15E. about ¾ mile west of the Three-R Mine, at the west foot of the Patagonia Mountains, at an elevation of about 4,200 feet. Located in 1881 by A.J. Stockton and partners, who held it until 1885. Sold to Mr. Douglas Gray in 1885, who still owned it circa 1915.

Mineralization is pockety, argentiferous galena, partly oxidized to cerussite, minor oxidized copper minerals, and wulfenite in a quartz and gouge gangue along a strong shear zone cutting altered and leached Precambrian metamorphic rocks, intruded by Jurassic granitic intrusive.

The veins of deposits occur principally in an east-west shear zone in altered and leached diorite, and in association with the contact of the diorite and quartz or granite. Quartz monzonite crops out on a hill just north of the mine and diorite to the south. In a contact belt about 100 feet wide, between the two croppings, the rocks are very much sheared and altered. In some places the rock appears more granitic and in others dioritic, and it is probable that both varieties occur in this altered contact zone.

The ore consists largely of cerussite enveloping cores of galena. It occurs in seams and elongated masses which have a general east-west strike and steep southerly dip. A little native silver was found at 35 feet in the main shaft, and small pockets of wulfenite occur throughout the deposits. Both the cerussite and the wulfenite are beautifully crystallized.

Workings included 2 shafts at 83 and 62 feet deep (circa 1881-1885). Workings also include drifts and stopes on 2 levels (40 and 75 levels). There are also shallow pits on surface. Over 250 tons of Pb-Ag ore were mined in the late 1800's and up through 1937. The output for the group would be some 350 tons of ore averaging about 56 oz. Ag/T, 39% Pb, 1% Cu, and minor
