A former group of surface and underground Pb-Ag-F-Ba-V-Mo-Zn-Au-Cu (As-Se-Be-Sb) mines. Located in the SE¼ sec. 25, T4S, R19W & the NW¼ sec. 31, T4S, R18W (protracted), 600 feet S of the Cleveland-Chicago Mine, on federal land. Owned at times, or in part, by De Luce, Haack, Arizona Lead Co. and the Desert Lead Co. Additonal names/claim names which pertain to this group: Bronza-Hardrick; Barite-Nip No. 1; Algodones; Abe No. 10; Nip No. 2; Haack Nos. 1 & 2.

Mineralization is spotty, partially oxidized, argentiferous galena with minor oxidized copper and zinc mineralization and gangue of crystalline fluorite, barite, calcite, in narrow, lensing fissure veins in Mesozoic shale intruded by large and small dikes and masses of diorite and quartz porphyry. Ore control was irregular veins in a shear zone. Ore concentration was supergene enrichment. Alteration was minor oxidized copper and zinc mineralization. Local structures include minor cross-faults. Faults strike NNW and dip steeply, followed by mineral-bearing veins. Tectonic influences include block faulting.

Workings include shallow shafts, pits and cuts. This group was prospected and mined sporadically from the late 1800's. Some 20,000 tons of ore averaging about 6% Pb and 2 oz. Ag/T were produced from old fill and dumps in the 1940's.
