A former largeoutput Cu-Ag-Bi occurrence/mine located in the S½NE¼ sec. 21, T23S, R24E, G&SRM, approximately 1.5 miles (2.41 km) WNW of Warren,on private land. One of the major Calumet and Arizona Company mines. Owned at times, or in part, by the Lake Superior & Pittsburg Development Co., Calumet & Arizona Mining Co., and the Phelps Dodge Corp.

Mineralization is partially oxidizedcopper ores in irregularreplacement orebodies in relatively unaltered Cambrian Abrigo and Devonian Martinlimestones along the Dallasfault zone and adjacentfracture zones.

Localstructures include common pre-mineralizationfaulting andtilting. Mainfault directions are N10W to N40E and S30W to N50W.

Workings include underground openings comprised of a deepshaft.

Production was probably several hundred thousand tons ofore; included in Calumet & Arizona and Phelps Dodge totals after 1915.
