Gebiet Wannigletscher - Scherbadung (Monte Cervandone), Binn, Bezirk Goms, Wallis, Schweiz


Scherbadung (Monte Cervandone) is a 3211 m high peak on the Swiss-Italian border. The locality has been described by Parker (1973) on pages 299-305.

Minerals reported from the Italian side are listed separately (seehttp://www.mindat.org/loc-2085.html).

Recently, at the lower levels of the Wanni glacier, the same REE-mineralizedquartz-feldsparnodules as in the Ritter pass area have been discovered in a much smallerzone compared to the former. Hence, fewer mineral species have been found so far (Cuchet et al. 2014).
