Abandoned quartz quarry in a silicified baryte vein, located west of Hohenstein cliff. Worked in 1962-1964 by the DESTAG Company of Reichenbach and in 1996-1997 by the Walther Company of Gadernheim. The pit was backfilled and landscaped in 1998.

This occurrence is known for fine secondary bismuth minerals.
