A silver mine east of Chewelah. The ore occurred as quartz veins in argillites of the stripped peak formation adjacent to the Jurassic-Triassic Flowery-Trail granodiorite. Development consisted of a 200' long incline shaft with several hundred feet of drifts from it. It produced ore in 1920 and 1939. Mills (1977) reports a production of around 42,000 lbs Pb and 2,500 oz Ag
