Prior to 1908 the property was held by Clear Lake Mining Co.
then from 1908-1958 by the Great Northern Silver Mines
1907:a 100 foot shaft and crosscut driven North
a second shaft was sunk to a depth of 25'.
Geology:
Keewatin andesitic & rhyolitic tuffs are intruded by lamprophyre
sills, Interbedded sediments carry sulphides and a vein occurs in the
tuff.
