A locality for chevkinite mentioned by Lacroix (1922), located between Sahaninoka = Sahaninoky andItrongay.
The name means "Where there are drongovato" (litt: lizard on rock), a lizard, Oplurus cuivieri, that commonly sits on rocks in the area.
NOTE:
The name may have been mixed up with the Andangovato village in the same area.
