Bergwerk West is the name given in 2001 to the amalgamated coalmines Friedrich-Heinrich in Kamp-Lintfort and Niederberg in Neukirchen-Vluyn.
The main mining site of the Bergwerk West Mine is the site of former Friedrich-Heinrich Mine in Kamp-Lintfort.
Still active as in Summer 2012, to be closed op 31 December 2012.
