Tectonics:Brazos Uplift

Deposit: Discovery year: 1880's (?) the pegmatite is shaped like an asymmetric trough, the west arm is 80 ft long, trends n25e and dips west-northwest. The east arm is much shorter, trends n5w, and dips steeply west. (jahns, 1946) see also: kiawa group ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept

Geology: Deposit occurs in the petaca shist member of the ortega quartzite.
