A porphyry copper-gold-silver-molybdenum mine. Produced 9 million tons of ore grading at 1.12% Cu between 1981 and 1984, and had 450 million tons of ore reserves in 1984. The Sarcheshmeh deposit is a giant copper deposit located about 165 km of Kerman, Iran, with estimated resources of 1,557 million tons of sulfide ores and an average copper grade of 0.557 % above a cutoff of 0.25 % within a northeast-southwest ore zone of about 2,000 m × 1,000 m.
The deposit was mined in ancient times, "rediscovered" about 1966, explored during 1966-1969, and in full production in around 1977.

Located 65 km southwest of Kerman city and 50 km south of Rafsanjan.
