Middle Triassic porphyritic basalts.

The mineral locality is reachable from Contrada Gonzati, continuing on the road for 1 kilometre until the sign indicating Contrada Lovati. Then, enter in the wood, starting from a small retaining wall along the road, and reach a three-metre-high wall of porphyritic basalt, in which mineralised calcite veins are embedded.

Heulandite-Ca and stilbite-Ca are the most common zeolites from this locality. Heulandite-K is also present, but it is indistinguishable from the calcium-dominant one without analysis.
