The Wadi El Natroun (also Wadi el Natrun) is located in Egypt, about 100 km north-west of Cairo. It is bounded by latitudes 30° 81' 60''N to 30°83' 20''N and longitudes 30° 80' 20''E to 30° 82' 90''E and is generally situated at 23 metres below sea level.

The total area is approximately 282 km².

A typical brine lake location.
