The Brêcheté field is located between the Castle mine and Theophilus mine, and grows on almost a hundred vertical meters.

In 1574 a report retained at Monaco archives (Fluck, 1981) speaks about a Notre Dame mine in Urbeis(?) in which they dug a new schaft on fault with the vein contains high copper mine and lead grading up 7-8 loths silver (0.21 to 0.24%) and very easy to melt.
An undated report described the mining district. It signals the Saint Oswald mine that can match the Brêcheté field and will go up, according to Fluck around 1578.
From 1742 to 1748 mining restarted to cover operating without convincing results. Others were held in the 1780 and 1781 period when De Dietrich described the Brêcheté Field. He reported that three associates, including the pastor of Urbeis, made clear 180 yards of galleries and 7 yards shafts. In 1789, De Dietrich visit the mines of Urbeis once again abandoned.
From 1804 to 1863 repeatedly ore research took place, but these works have not been important since the veins were already in great part almost exhausted.
Daubrée rose too, in 1852, the importance of the Brêcheté field work.
