Note: There are two old, water-filled quarries at this location but the large, dry and currently active traprock quarry, operated by Vulcan Materials Company, 5485 Afton Lane, Warrenton, VA 20187, tel. 540-347-3641) is at the coordinates used for this page (38.670785, -77.733162).

reports that Sanders Quarry Inc. operated from 1960 until its dissolution date in 1987.

It would appear that the original Sanders (Sander) quarry was located on the western side of the railway line between Warrenton and Casanova.
This may mean that the original quarry was located at: 38.66713715343695, -77.73958158114945
