0.8 x 0.8 x 0.1 cm. A rarely seen, fairly sharp, euhedral, blue/purple, flattened hexagonal crystal of Sapphire from the famous gem gravels of Montana. This crystal has good gemminess and color for the locality, and was personally collected by Richard Kosnar on a trip to Montana in 1979. Corundum

2.7 x 1.1 x 0.8 cm. This is a rare Montana corundum (sapphire) crystal. This is not a flat/compressed "disc" either, bur rather a robust, prismatic hexagonal crystal. It's not gem quality or brightly colored, but it does have a blue-grey hue on the exterior.
