Sidehopper Station is a stage playable inMetroid Prime 2: Echoes multiplayer mode. It orbitsTallon IV and features a mix of indoor and outdoor combat.
Aesthetically, the two-pronged shape of the stage resembles aSidehopper, an enemy encountered in earlierMetroid games. Its location and design suggest it was based onFrigateOrpheon fromMetroid Prime.
There is aKinetic Orb Cannon on each prong and aRandomizer. The central area connects the two sides bySpider Ball Track.
