ALuminoth Laser Emitter is a device used by theLuminoth to aim concentrated laser beams. UnlikeLuminoth Laser Turrets, which fire limited bursts when activated, the laser emitters fire a constant beam. The only laser emitterSamus encounters is found in theGathering Hall ofTorvus Bog. It's aimed using aSpinner device,[1] but the Spinner is in a state ofTransdimensional Flux and can only be used onDark Aether.[2] When the Spinner on Dark Aether is used to align the laser with the hollow in theLuminoth Statue across the chamber, more platforms extend for access to other parts of the room. The laser emitter becomes locked in place once this occurs and cannot be aimed elsewhere.[3]
