Concealed Movement Pads are buoyant platforms that were manufactured by theLuminoth to navigate the flooded areas ofTorvus with ease. The pad's appearance is quite lifelike and was designed to confuse theIng.[1] The top end is round and covered in damage-inflicting spikes, but aLight Crystal embedded in the bottom end will flip the pad over when activated by a shot from theDark Beam.[2]

Samus encounters these pads only in theGathering Hall of Torvus Bog, but when the water in the room is drained the Light Crystal on the underbelly becomes inaccessible, rendering the Concealed Movement Pads effectively useless. The spikes on the surface will still cause minimal damage on contact, however.
