Prove(s) once again how ingenious, artful and flat-out entertaining animation can be.
The superrealist images beguile us with their bold wit, and the storytelling is so tight, urgent and inventive there doesn't seem to be a wasted moment. Which makes you wonder -- why can't scripts this clever be written for human beings?

This was a better sequel than the first! I wrote a review on the first Toy Story, (if you see it you'll see it's not much but you get how much I love it.) And the 2nd one was better in every way!

Toy Story 2 é uma daquelas raras sequências que elevam tudo o que fez o original ser especial. Ele amplia o universo, aprofunda seus personagens e entrega uma história que mistura humor, aventura e emoção de forma magistral.O filme é um lembrete poderoso de que, mesmo sabendo que nada dura para sempre, os momentos de felicidade e amizade são o que realmente importam. Com uma animação impressionante, um roteiro brilhante e uma das cenas mais emocionantes da Pixar, Toy Story 2 merece ser chamado de obra-prima.Nota: 100/100 – Perfeito em todos os aspectos.

The sequel is faster, funnier and wilder, with more cunningly contrived computer effects.
Everything you could want in a sequel. It satisfyingly regenerates the characters and qualities that made the first film so popular. And then it moves them forward into newer, fresher, more elaborate, more involving territory.
If you (or your kids) loved Toy Story, you'll like Toy Story 2 as well. Just don't expect any big surprises.

This one is my least favorite out of the series. It was still an ok movie, but they were just trapped for almost the entire movie. Just not that entertaining to me.

Toy Story 2 is just another dismal effort with inept characters and an implausible story. Any new characters added this time do nothing to help this franchise.

For how much longer. Disney sequels just do not work. Pixar tries harder, but why bother if Disney only cares about the money? Disney should stop making sequels. The movie does have merit in some parts, but why start when you already ended the first movie pretty well?
