Deadpool & Wolverine is enjoyable on its merits: R-rated, horribly violent juvenile fantasy loaded with nostalgic references from the glory days of comic reading that fans, new and old, will thoroughly enjoy as it drags you down to its irreverently funny level.

Like its predecessors, Deadpool & Wolverine is loud, proudly vulgar and repeatedly shatters the fourth wall with gleeful naughtiness. Yet beneath the outlandishness, half-dozen belly laughs and nerd-centric beats resides sweet nostalgia for the last quarter-century of superhero movies, while demonstrating that Marvel Studios possesses the power to laugh at itself.

Superfans of the entire Marvel universe will find this film filled with top-notch comedy and action, Easter eggs, cameos that left the audience gasping and cheering, a lot of meta jokes and digs at 20th Century Fox...It's the perfect way to wrap up the "Deadpool" franchise for good.

A film can be obnoxious and simultaneously very funny, and Deadpool & Wolverine is frequently hilarious. But it’s also slapdash, repetitive and shoddy looking, with an overreliance on meme-derived gags and achingly meta comic fan in-jokes.

Yes, the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has long been more compelling than any of the stories told in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and — in the process of reconciling those two stories as only Marvel Jesus could — Deadpool makes a very persuasive case that this should be the last superhero movie ever made. It won’t be. It already isn’t. The best we can probably hope for is that “Deadpool 4” is similarly willing to die for all of the sins that its genre will commit between now and then.

The movie is two hours of cheap jokes, culminating in the world’s biggest Family Guy episode. It tries so hard to be clever, it just ends up being cringe.

The creators of Deadpool will argue, lamely in my view, that by admitting the puerile nature of the humour they inure themselves to criticism in that area, but no such excuses are offered for the onanistic self-regard. After two hours of this infantile mugging, one is left longing for the genuinely upending humour of the Batman TV series from 60 years ago. Awful. Just awful.

I'm very conflicted with this movie. On one hand, it's a pretty fun enjoyable buddy cop movie with some pretty good action sequences as well as spectacles. Some of the jokes were pretty funny. And that intro was chef kiss perfection. But I felt like the jokes were a little bit too much this time around. Mostly because the movie doesn't leave much breathing room between the jokes. So, Deadpool just kept shooting out one joke after another to the point it became tiresome. I never really felt annoyed by Deadpool in the previous two movies but wow.. this movie really open my eyes on why some truly dislike Deadpool.I also felt like sometimes they prioritize jokes more than the story. In the first two movies, the story was still the main focus. But in here, sometimes they kinda move away from the plot a bit for jokes that doesn't really play much role into the story. The main case for this is Nicepool and Dogpool because I feel like they don't really add much value to the story other than being fun gimmicky characters. The story also feels a bit weak and doesn't make much sense if you think really deeply into it. The second act also felt like they were meandering a bit. Lastly, the direction and the treatment of the main villain felt a bit weird for some reason to me especially near the end. Still.. I did enjoy it somewhat. It wasn't too bad. I just wished it has a stronger plot and more breathing room between the jokes just so it doesn't feel too tiresome overtime.

Deadpool & Wolverine is pure fan service with a great cast and nothing else.The writing has a lot of exposition, unnatural dialogues, too much telling and not enough showing. The story doesn't make sense, lot of the character decisions are inconsistent. On the other hand, there's a lot of fun service and that's a positive for me here, because it was certainly the main goal to service the fans. Should I be harsh on the movie because of that? Sure, but I won't be. There's a lot of fun to be had.The cinematography offers a few awesome camera movements and dull lighting. The editing is okay. It doesn't offer anything special, but it also never gets too boring. The production design is great and it is part of the jokes which I loved. The sound design is great and the soundtrack's good too. The cast is insane and the main reason this movie works is the duo of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.Deadpool & Wolverine is not for everyone and I'm somewhere in the middle, because I didn't like some elements, but ultimately it's a fun movie.

Disney did it again. Takes all your favorite things and just ruins them with that Disney-ickyness that just makes you feel like you can't scour the schlock off no matter how many times you wash!What should have been another grand slam felt like Reynolds meets Jackman in all the worst ways. Cameos were absolutely a bonus that didn't disappoint, but what did was watching them all die or get left behind - again. Yet again another Disney property where the plot only makes sense if you have watched every other Disney property - probably against your will.Best parts were the comic cover accurate snapshots and Lady Deadpool's fat ass!

No stakes action. Multiverse nonsense. Best considered a comedy. Much explosions, much violence. Interesting soundtrack.
