Battlefield is back in shape and more so with fresh theme of the first Great War! After a long time, the campaign is successful and multiplayer is traditionally excellent. So, this year your choice is set! [Issue #269]
Battlefield 1 offers hands down the best graphics of any shooter, nay, any game to date. While its single-player-campaign is – again – unnecessary drivel, as short as it is forgettable, the multi-player-offering is in a league of its own. If you only buy one shooter this year, make it Battlefield 1.

this is the game that started my battlefield addiction. never did a multiplayer game made me so invested in knowing more. i ended up playing more world war games because of it.

PCProbably one of the, if not, the greatest Battlefield game in awhile. Gun mechanics are beautiful, not fully realistic, but uses prototype weapons from WW1. Using tanks and planes feel flimsy, but powerful in the hands of good players, rewarding for good positioning and teamwork. Campaign was good, not much to say on it. Maps and atosphere are gorgeous, although coming out in late 2016, its graphics are still able to rival some of the newer FPS games. A timeless, unforgettable masterpiece.

PCNot only does DICE deliver their best campaign to date this side of Bad Company. It also pushes online-multiplayer to new heights with atmospheric battles and intense gunfights.
Battlefield 1 delivers on almost every promise made, and it sure is one of the best FPSs of the end of the year. We only wish it could have had fewer bugs and a bit more historic accuracy, but as long as the gameplay is addictive, we're satisfied.
Close combat, ragdoll explosions, mud, poison gas, and the violence of one of the bloodiest conflicts in history mix with pigeon babysitting. War Pigeons is a good summary of Battlefield 1 in general.
It feels like being asked to play a game of football at a funeral and then made to keep the noise down when you score.
Me parece un gran cada año que pasa es mejor y lo siento bastante nuevo y bueno. Las armas son muy realistas y es muy divertido esta muy activo y siempre será el mejor battlefield.

PCMy assessment of this game focuses on the single-player campaign because I couldn’t play online due to a lack of nearby servers and I couldn’t find an "offline multiplayer against the CPU" **** setting and graphics of this game are truly outstanding (even in 2024). The developers have achieved an incredible level of immersion with this title in the series. Everything seems very well thought out and consistent with the World War I era. It’s fascinating to see the technologies of the time in action and how they were managed. The campaign follows a "war stories" format, where the player can choose any of them to complete in any order they like (ranging from tank battles, airplane combat, desert assaults, and so on…). The characters are convincing and the voice acting is good. The level design mostly follows a "battlefield" style but always with elements geared towards a true "campaign" experience. I really missed having an offline multiplayer mode against bots for practice and enjoyment (and also to keep the game "playable" when the company shuts down the servers at some point)

PCCertainly one of the worst war games out there. Tragic feeling of shooting. Haos. NO logic. Tank guys with flamethrowers. Idiotic AI behavior. Distorting historical facts. It's hard to say anything good about this game except for the graphics, which can also slow down at 144 fps.
