Battlefield is back in shape and more so with fresh theme of the first Great War! After a long time, the campaign is successful and multiplayer is traditionally excellent. So, this year your choice is set! [Issue #269]

Battlefield 1 offers hands down the best graphics of any shooter, nay, any game to date. While its single-player-campaign is – again – unnecessary drivel, as short as it is forgettable, the multi-player-offering is in a league of its own. If you only buy one shooter this year, make it Battlefield 1.

One of the battlefield goats. Beautiful, complex and well-thought out maps, awesome gameplay mechanics like behemoth vehicles. The weapons and vehicles are fresh and feel incredible. Especially because WW1 is not often explored as a setting. Where else can you lance people from horseback, drive experiemental tanks or artillery trucks? A game that feels like a true battlefield game in an often unexplored time period, in all the best ways. Outstanding attention to detail

Not only does DICE deliver their best campaign to date this side of Bad Company. It also pushes online-multiplayer to new heights with atmospheric battles and intense gunfights.

Battlefield 1 delivers on almost every promise made, and it sure is one of the best FPSs of the end of the year. We only wish it could have had fewer bugs and a bit more historic accuracy, but as long as the gameplay is addictive, we're satisfied.

Close combat, ragdoll explosions, mud, poison gas, and the violence of one of the bloodiest conflicts in history mix with pigeon babysitting. War Pigeons is a good summary of Battlefield 1 in general.

Battlefield 1 deserves nothing less than a 10. Astounding graphics, breath taking sounds, excellent level of destruction, realistic dubbing, great variety of weapons, well designed maps, nice paced fights. The list goes on. It really captured the kid in me and made me play for thousans of hours.

While playing this game, I asked myself how we could have gone so far back in time graphically. The downside of the game, as with all BF games, is the story mode.

Disgracefully overrated game. There is no Serbia in it which played main role in beginning and ending of conflict. Graphics are somewhat good, gunplay similar to CoD robot like fast movement reload with guns looking shiny like toys. Missions are not so good, they are not well designed, there is no hud or navigation system.
